Abstract
(English)
The first half year of the project was largely dedicated to project start-up and management, development of the Teacher Education Ontology (TEO) and Common Metadata Model (CMM), survey and selection of system architecture components, and laying the foundations for dissemination and sustainability activities. The project start-up consisted of a three-day kick-off meeting in Genova (IT) with members of the full project consortium and the external project evaluator. This meeting consolidated the shared project vision within the consortium and laid out the program for the first half year. A Teacher Education Ontology (TEO) and Common Metadata Model have been developed, and a possible System Architecture outlined. The cross-link between the Teacher Education Ontology, Common Metadata Model and System Architecture has been analysed and will be tested as part of the implementation process. Project dissemination activities include organisation of information meetings, participation and reporting at conferences, and production of dissemination plan and dedicated tools such as the web site, a project presentation and a poster. Project management structures and supports were put in place. This included implementation of the project communication platform, appointment of an Advisory Board comprising 14 international experts from fields of specific relevance to project concerns, and definition of the Consortium Agreement.
