Abstract
(English)
In this paper we'll explore how ICT can be used to support the schooling of hospitalized children. The following considerations are the fruit of experience gained in major projects carried out in Italy regarding the use of ICT for the education of children receiving long-term hospital treatment. As a result of the research projects we propose here a learning environment for schools in hospital, to develop a place where learners (hospitalized children) may work together and play with each other, and where the teacher can use a variety of tools and information resources and talk to others about their problems and didactic materials, for the purpose of creating a community of practice.
