Degl'Innocenti R., Ferraris M. Database as a tool for promoting research activities in the classroom: an example in teaching humanities. In: Computers & Education, vol. 12 (1) pp. 157 - 162. Pergamon Press, 1988.
The project described in this paper concerns the development and experimentation of Datamondo, an instructional package which introduces the use of the database in humanities teaching at secondary school level. The main aim of Datamondo is to allow the students to use a database as a research tool in the analysis of press information through the collection and classification of international news articles in Italian newspapers.
