Abstract
(English)
Our daily life is in various aspects influenced, although indirectly, by mandatory Standards,typically the ones referred by systems that may impact into people's safety and environment integrity. Implementing such Standards is then great responsibility task. The paper presents a somewhat novel quality framework, or Quality Model, as a reference for safety-related Standards, together with the criteria that justify its characteristics, based on quite different disciplines. The Model is then used for the evaluation of a sample of well-known Standards. The results are presented and discussed.
