Abstract
(English)
This work points out the contribution given by the integrated analysis of Very High Resolution Seismic profiles, maps, and DEM to define buried geomorphological features in the Venice Lagoon. Intersection of seismic lines, forming a dense network, produced a three-dimensional image of the subsoil, showing the shapes of these structures. Results are also assuming great importance in relation to coastal environmental problems, because some features can favour or mitigate saltwater intrusion in the coastal aquifers.
