Abstract
(English)
Selected morphologies of nanostructured SnO2 and ZnO have been synthesized by using thermal sublimation and controlling the oxidation reaction, growth kinetics, local growth temperature and chemical composition of the source material. This paper focuses on crucial details to optimize the growth of nanowires and nanotetrapods. On the basis of the comprehension of the growth mechanisms, specific procedures are proposed for simple and large-scale production required by device applications.
