The popularity, the activity and the in uence of famous entities on social media are becoming object of study expecially for business purposes. This technical report describes SocialTrends, a web appli- cation, which monitors the trends of the most popular entities on the social media. In particular we illustrate three classes of metrics (popu- larity, activity and in uence) and map them to the three most popular social media: Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. SocialTrends periodi- cally exploits the Social APIs to retrieve statistical information about entities and show data organized in categories, channels and classes of metrics.
