Abstract
(English)
The problem of the identification and localization of polyhedral solids from a single camera view has been widely considered in the literature. In this paper, an algorithm is proposed to recognize polyhedral objects, wich can be either rotated, scaled or overlapping, by using only orthographic projection. This algorithm is not based on the numerical solution of non-linear equations and does not require any priori knowledge. It has the advantage as being based on simple algebraic equations, wich are easy to solve and to not require time consuming numerical procedures.
