Abstract
(English)
The balancebetweeninhibitionandexcitationisatthebasisofthemaintenanceofstableandnormal brain electricalactivity.Experimentalresultsrevealedthatinhibitorysynapsescanbecomedepolariz- ing astheintracellularconcentrationofCl1 of thepostsynapticcellsincreases.Inthisworkthe dynamicalbehaviourofanetworkofpyramidalcellscoupledtoinhibitoryfast-spikinginterneurons was studiedbysimulations.Inparticular,inagreementtotheexperimentaldata,itwasfoundthatthe biophysicalpropertiesoftheinhibitory/excitatorysynapsesstronglyimpactthenetworkdynamicsand the transitiontoseizure.
