Abstract
(English)
In the framework of the neural information coding the dynamical behaviour of the forced subthreshold FitzHugh-Nagumo model and of its linearized version are compared. We show that for this biophysical model an effective Integrate and Fire system (its linearized version) can be used to describe approximatively some of its properties.
