Abstract
(English)
This work presents a project, called virtual companion, which proposes a method to help students in solving exercises taking into account their cultural level and their degree of predisposition in using multimedia packages. Starting from the study of some critical characteristics which frequently affect multimedia products in terms of not so much consideration of the ergonomic interface between the educational software and the user, we developed a prototype which tries to face these aspects and which can be a solution to the lack of educational efficacy of many today multimedia products. We think that our virtual companion can add new and curious elements in the learning/teaching process and can reduce the insulation feeling which can arise from educational strategies based upon a personale relation between the student and the computer.
