Gazzaniga G. Is distance learning worth just for real distance students?. Preprint ercim.cnr.ian//1998-1118, 1998.
Distance learning is becoming more and more a fashionable research topic and schools vie in connecting to Internet and putting at their students' disposal networked computer. But often this interest in the technological aspects is not accompanied by a serious reflection on what real novelties these tools can bring in the teaching and learning process. In the paper we try to analyse which aspects of the use of computers networks in education can be valuable also for students who do not need distance education, in order ro realize if the large amount of resources (human and financial) spent in this activity is really well justified.
